Catherine Berjal

Partner, CEO

Ms. Berjal co-founded CIAM in 2010. She is responsible for the fund’s investments.

Ms. Berjal has 27 years of experience in financial markets, including 18 years as a portfolio manager of event driven strategies. Prior to founding CIAM, Ms. Berjal was Head of Merger Arbitrage at BNP Arbitrage, where she managed European and North American portfolios from 2000 to 2009.

She joined BNP Arbitrage from CDC-Marchés where she started her career in 1994, first as a trader in “basket arbitrage”, then from 1998 as portfolio manager in merger arbitrage.

Ms. Berjal graduated from Paris-Sorbonne University where she obtained a Master’s degree in Finance in 1994.


Anne-Sophie d’Andlau

Partner, Deputy CEO

Ms. D’Andlau co-founded CIAM in 2010. She is responsible for the fund’s strategy and development, as well as for ESG.

Ms. D’Andlau has 26 years of experience in corporate finance and the alternative asset management. Prior to founding CIAM, Ms. D’Andlau worked at Systeia Capital Management (acquired by Amundi) from 2001 to 2008, first as Head of Research for the Event Driven and M&A strategies, then taking on a portfolio management role from 2003 to 2008.

She joined Systeia Capital Management from PriceWaterhouse Coopers where she acquired a solid corporate finance experience between 1995 and 2001, initially within the audit and due-diligence department, then as an M&A advisor.

Ms. D’Andlau graduated from Neoma Business School where she obtained in 1995 a MSc in Finance.


Emmanuel Drujon

RISK MANAGER AND COO

Mr. Drujon joined CIAM in 2015 as Head of Operations, Risk and Compliance.

Mr. Drujon has 30 years of international experience in financial markets, mainly in fund management, structuring and managing investment activities.

Prior to joining CIAM he has worked in various capacities within the asset management industry where he started in 2002 as a partner and manager of the CB and Capital Structure Arbitrage funds at Systeia Capital Management. Prior to that, he has headed proprietary trading units at leading investment banks including DLJ, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Drujon graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in 1991 with a specialty in Economy and Finance, and holds a Master in Business Law from Paris-Sorbonne University.
